"No Surrender" is a book that shows how a man prepares to fight a War and how he prepares himself to face challenges and that's why it's titled (No Surrender) which means pretty much "never give up". A nineteen year old young man named Jimmy, an American machine gunner and paratrooper states how he gets ready to fight a War. Jimmy hasn't seen a hell of a lot of life which means that he had never been in a War before and has no experience about it. Jimmy had been trained a lot in his country and now he's geared and ready to fight the War in German with his comrades and patrons. Now Jimmy is in the C-47 Airplane ready to throw himself off the plane and already knows that the War will be awful and hard and he is even observing some of his comrades crying, shaking and some of them trowing up in the Airplane.
Three persons are thrown from the plane including Jimmy, the rest are Huff and Lud which are Jimmy's friends. They reached a tree but they landed in a Water, they are a little bit hurt but not too much, they can hear person's voice coming from far away like almost 20 feet far, they are trying their best to not make any noise. But pretty soon, a really bad news, they got surrounded by German troops and had issues. Jimmy met a German troop named Johnny and soon after both became friends. Johnny was not like other German troops but the saddest thing is that Johnny's wrist was torn away and it was really hurting him. Jimmy is trying to help him out as much as he can to relieve his pain.
